Woodshed Gallery In Franklin MA Hosts Cornerstone Christian Academy Art Student Exhibition
Middle School students from the Franklin, MA Cornerstone Christian Academy will exhibit over thirty exceptional paintings, drawings, designs and sculptures at the Woodshed Gallery. The show runs from April 20th to May 4th.

FRANKLIN, MA, April 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Woodshed Picture Framing and Art Gallery, at the Medway/Franklin line, will host an exhibition of exceptional artworks by young art students from Franklin's Cornerstone Christian Academy.

The exhibition runs from April 20th to May 4th, The public is invited to attend an opening reception for the artists on Monday, April 26th from 7 - 8:30pm.

The exhibiting artists are enrolled in the middle school visual arts curriculum led by art instructor John Barry. The students will present over thirty finished works from the Drawing & Painting Studio, as well as Impressionism & Expressionism, 3-Dimensional Design and Introduction to Graphic Design classes.

Exhibiting artists include: Ashley Steen; Blake Millard; Heather Cornwall; Colin Irwin; Ray Wilschek; Nick Wotton; Kelsey Ludwig; Becca Swan; Madison Bilouris; Noah Joseph; Livy Joseph; Jenny Bell; Liam O'Rourke; Evan Wong; Nick O'Toole; Jake Bontempo and Marissa Marcoux.

Mary-Ann Wood, The Woodshed Gallery's Owner, says that "it's great to be showing the work of young artists. Not only is it important to encourage emerging talent, but we are able to celebrate the accomplishments of artists who may go on to have life-long benefits from what they do here. Over the years, many students who have exhibited at the Woodshed have gone on to pursue professional art careers."

Cornerstone Christian Academy is a faith-based elementary school in Franklin, MA.

The Woodshed Gallery specializes in conservation picture framing and the exhibition of original fine art. The gallery was founded by the late artist Angelina Wood in 1968, and continues to be a family-run business serving Northern Rhode Island and Boston's Metro West communities.
