Maximum Image Salon & Spa To Host Discover True Beauty Tour September 11th At Woburn Mall To Benefit The "Look Good . . . Feel Better" Program Of Boston
The event will benefit the "Look Good . . . Feel Good" Program of Boston, a public service program created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem, and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence.

WOBURN, MA, September 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maximum Image Salon & Spa of Woburn, and Aviva Labs, Inc., will host a special awareness and charity event Saturday, September 11, at the Woburn Mall entitled Discover True Beauty Tour: Empower Men & Women to Look & Feel Their Best, to benefit the "Look Good . . . Feel Better" program of Boston.

The mission of the Discover True Beauty Tour is to "create an awareness and forum for people to discover their own inner beauty, and to celebrate health & wellness," according to Anna Linnehan, event organizer and owner of Maximum Hair Salon & Spa.

The day-long event (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) will take place throughout the mall, as well as on a main stage, with guest speakers, makeover demonstrations and raffles.
""A recent study showed that close to 70 percent of all women have low self-esteem, lack confidence, and do not think they're beautiful," continued Linnehan. "This event is just one way we can help to boost confidence and self-esteem - both inside and out."

Highlights of the day will include:
• Makeover Demonstrations: A series of makeover demonstrations to present the tools, knowledge and enthusiasm for all to see the potential of beauty within themselves, and to face any challenge with a healthy mind, body and spirit.
• Makeover/Day At Spa Raffle: A raffle for a grand makeover and a complete spa day at Maximum Image Salon & Spa.
• Real-Life Story Sharing: Story sharing by people who have experienced tragedy or adversity, the beneficial effect that health & wellness has had on their lives, and how they've achieved this.
• Autism Awareness/Well-Being: Keynote speaker Becky Blake, of Eradicator of Autism, will share personal stories of looking within the eyes of children suffering the difficulties of autism, and who have received a complete beauty transformation on the outside to match their beauty on the inside.
• More Beauty Techniques: A host of demonstrations to look and feel fabulous, such as sunless spray tanning, proper hair care techniques, the latest in fashionable looks, and more!
• Many Participating Businesses: Many retailers throughout the mall will also be participating in the day's activities with event-themed promotions and demonstrations in and in front of their stores.
The "Look Good . . . Feel Better" initiative is a free, non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem, and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence.
