Mill's Tavern Unveils Summer Menu Selections
Executive chef crafts simple yet elegant dishes letting farm-fresh ingredients and local seafood shine

PROVIDENCE, RI, July 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mill's Tavern, acclaimed for its seasonal four-star cuisine, introduces its latest menu highlighting flavors of summer in a simple yet elegant selection of new dishes. Executive Chef Robert Harrison has carefully crafted a menu incorporating local ingredients such as fresh-off-the-boat seafood and farm-fresh vegetables and herbs.

"Our summer menu reflects the abundance and availability of fresh seafood acquired straight from our New England fisherman," said executive chef, Robert Harrison. "With gardens and farms exploding with superior produce, it's a time for simplified, lighter, more straight-forward preparations that allow each ingredient to shine," explained Harrison.

Menu highlights include starters like, House Smoked Native Bluefish with caraway-mustard slaw, candied limes, and peppered brioche toasts; and Rhode Island "Stuffies Casino" with white cornbread stuffing and pork belly confit. Entrees worth savoring include Cavatelli with Lobster, cherry tomatoes, spinach and almonds in orange-saffron; and Jamaican Rabbit Curry with red currant-sweet tea rice, and minted cucumber salad.
